Ice Nugget

Ceramic glass is produced from glass waste without the addition of any dyes and resins.

Magna has got a large 500kW solar plant off-setting energy use and recycling water facility also to reduce unnecessary water usage. Glass waste is purchased up to within a radius of 150 km around production facility in Teutschenthal, Germany. This also further reduces the carbon footprint of the manufacturing of this material. The material is recyclable. On April 9, 2019, Magna Glaskeramik received the Cradle to Cradle Golden certificate. It confirms the company’s contribution to sustainability, setting it as an example of an efficient use of resources and raw materials. Thanks to heat treatment, the material can be shaped using dedicated models. The glass waste from which the product is made undergoes a complicated sintering process. The slabs have a semi-transparent form, which is revealed in full splendor when backlit.
